Vantage Insurance Services Ltd. (Vantage) is a leading, privately owned, independent Insurance Broker and Underwriting Agent based in the City of London with a regional office and customer service centre in Egham, Surrey. Vantage offer a broad range of personal insurance products, with a particular focus on the leisure arena. In addition to a strong market presence in their own right, Vantage also support a number of affinity groups including the largest and longest established organisation of its kind in the world.
Fusion have worked closely with Vantage over the last three years to develop a fully web-based solution that offers members of the public a complete self-service experience covering all aspects of the policy lifecycle from initial quick quote and full quote through to policy purchase with automated delivery of documentation via email and also extends to mid term adjustments and renewals without the need for call centre intervention.
The solution comprises a number of key components including a flexible questionnaire mechanism to gather and validate risk information, a powerful calculation engine, and a comprehensive underwriting rules system which automatically assesses whether a given risk is acceptable or if it requires automatic endorsement or needs to be referred for manual intervention.
In addition to the client facing provisions, the solution also offers a comprehensive range of back office facilities allowing exceptional cases to be dealt with, including the addition of policy endorsements and the adjustment of premiums. In addition to the processing of policies, the back office also provides a comprehensive reporting suite offering a range of management and financial information, which includes automated subscriptions and the facility to export data in a wide range of industry standard formats.
